Through her eyes

"When I was writing Annie Hall with Marshall [Brickman], the film originally reflected my point of view, but we kept making Annie Hall a bigger and bigger character part and she did a great job with it. I started to look at the world through her eyes. I think it may have been William Gibson, the playwright, who said that when you love someone you have experiences through their eyes. And this was true with Keaton. I was crazy about her and have had nothing but admiration for her to this day. I can see through her. And because of her I started writing for women"

Quote by Woody Allen - Eric Lax. Start to Finish. Woody Allen and the Art of Moviemaking, 2017
