Definitely. As far as the greatest image of a maneuver of all time, the Tom Carroll shot at Pipe aka "The Snap", Laird Hamilton's Teahupo'o wave, Noll standing at Pipe, these are all impactful moments in surfing history. This image is core. Its core in that Curren is riding a Reverse-V ,7'3" or 7'8" Logo-less Maurice Cole, he had two. "Logo-less", which prevented a certain magazine from running it on the cover. Ocean Pacific was a SURFER Magazine sponsor and Curren's big dollar sponsor. This kept it off the cover. Curren would win Haleiwa on this logo-less Maurice Cole and that would be the end of that OP contract.
